Ashish Shanker

Ashish Shanker is the Vice President of Software Services based out of our Dallas office. He is a polyglot programmer who combines his in-depth expertise in technology with more than 20 years of experience in the software business to help our clients negotiate the “lean” path to start-up viability.

Ashish joined Synerzip in early 2013 and for several years prior, he operated as an independent technology advisor to start-ups as well as larger organizations building compelling solutions in the telecom, mobility and digital media space. His polyglot philosophy keeps him well invested in a variety of technology ecosystems including .NET, Java, LAMP, Node.js and cross-platform mobile application development. He offers unique insights into security, scalability and highly cost-efficient distributed computing infrastructures.

Ashish started his tryst with technology as an undergraduate building complex simulation modeling tools for hydrological analysis. He later built credit card analytics systems for Citicorp and evolved into an iFlex offering which was acquired by Oracle. Ashish joined i2 in 1998 and helped build several solutions in the supply chain collaboration, optimization and integration space. Prior to starting as an independent technology advisor, he ran the North America operations for a premier boutique consulting firm focused on SAP, Oracle and i2 implementation competencies.

Ashish has earned an MS in Telecommunications from Colorado University, Boulder; an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad; and a BS in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
